Welcome aboard!
First and foremost, thank you for being here—for being present and following my journey from the beginning. Walkabout Redemption is a great project of my dreams. There is immaculate vision in the process of creation. Personally, I have no experience in blogging or building websites. With intuition as my guide and art as my purpose I create. There are no limitations in spontaneous life.
I invite each of you to search deep within yourself for authentic truth. Release all attachments and expectations for presence in joy. My goal for Walkabout Redemption is to create a platform for people around the world to interact with the common goal of empathy. In understanding the website (you experience now) is only the foundation of what is to come, you may join my vision.
Some of the upcoming features: a free-write section, where people can ask questions or post pictures that I will respond to once or twice a week; a page known as The Treasure Chest, where lines of poetry or sentences of prose which have touched an audience member enough for them to nominate it as treasure. In this nomination, they will be invited to share their experience with the words, or not. I’m looking into adding comment sections below each of stories and poems to encourage audience interaction. There will be a podcast and a section keeping up with my novel progress. And of course, I will continue to add poems and short stories as they flow from my heart.
2020 Vision will focus on life, food, travel, art, reading, wisdom, and my experiences. I look forward to sharing this experience with all of you. 2020 is a year of immense awakening whether you realize it or not. What are you doing in preparation? Have you set intentions for deliberate growth in the new year? What will you create that no one else can?
My word for 2020 is create. The universe returns the energy we emit tenfold when we align with our true path. Two years ago, my word was growth—and last year, action. What type of energy are you looking for in your life? Remain present and respect the process of growth and decay, but when it is time to bloom—do so with everything you have.
With appreciation and respect,
Capt. BZ
